Someday Crafts--I am so excited

-Hello my lovely ladies-

I have the privilege of BLOG SWAPPING with Michelle from Someday Crafts.  I am so excited to show a really cute Christmas DIY decorating project TUTORIAL.  After you gals meet Michelle be sure to come over and see what I did for the Blog Swap.

Here is a little peak of my Tutorial at Someday Crafts

at the very bottom of this post are my favorites from both parties

but for now

I want to introduce you to my blog friend,

Michelle.

Hello to all the ladies (and gentlemen) at It's So Very Cheri! I am Michelle from Someday Crafts, one who seeks crafting inspiration from all of blog land. Because I wasn't born with the "crafting gene," I get to develop it and am in the process of doing that!!! My blog consists of the hottest craft ideas, tutorials and projects from talented bloggers all over the web, but every once in awhile, I am brave enough to post my own tutorial or idea. You can find tutorials for sewing, decoupauge, home decor, decorating, holidays, toys, clothing, baby stuff, kids crafts, jewelry, accessories, restyles, paper crafting and even a few fun food ideas on my blog. You never know what I will discover and post! I show 2 to 3 fabulous ideas a day. I have two small children and that is why these ideas are being saved for... someday!!!
I recently posted my first tutorial for this acorn wreath I made. You can make one of these yourself by going HERE. It's quite easy!

Maybe you are looking for cute, inexpensive, homemade gifts to give this holiday season. Why don't you look through my archives at...
the jewelry.
HERE is one (of 16 ideas) of washer necklaces on the front and steel stamping on the back!

Too cute!
Maybe you need ideas for a baby. Check out my BABY archives. There are only 64 ideas for you like this diaper clutch.

Suppose you are cleaning out the closets at your house and you have 25 t-shirts you are taking to the thrift store. Check the T-SHIRT archives.

There are 35 ideas (and one of those has 100 ideas) of what to do with t-shirts. You could make this beautiful shirt!

If you have kids, you will have to check out some of the 111 ideas that deal with kids (younger and older) in the kids archives. This is a really fun "clothes book" that will assist you in teaching your kids how to get clothes on and off (and other things.)

And once a week, I will have a round up of some sort that has 4 or more ideas of the same type of item (and I add Mr. MckLinky to the bottom so you can add your projects).

This was a hair bow round up. (It was posted around Halloween, but colors of bows change easily!!!) I have some of these korker bows for my daughter. They were expensive. Now, thanks to Domestically Speaking, I can make my own. I already have the ribbon!!! With her natural curly hair, my daughter looks so cute in these!!! See the tutorial HERE.
These are darling Halloween bows made over at Serenity Now. Learn how to make these kind of bows HERE.

Here are some of those fun fabric flowers made with Halloween fabric. They don't get any cuter than that. Find how Stacie at the Creative Crate made these by going HERE.

I know, these aren't very Halloweeny, but they are gorgeous. Little Birdie Secrets shows how to make these dainty satin clippies HERE. What if I found orange satin? Would it look like a pumpkin?
So there you have my blog, Someday Crafts, in a nutshell!! I would love to have you visit me daily, add me to your blog roll and become a follower (when my follower link gets working again!) I also look for submissions of ideas and tutorials, guest bloggers, blog swaps and giveaways. If you are interestied in any of these, please contact me at somedaycrafts@gmail.com Hopefully, I have showed you just a few ideas to get you excited about something. Please come visit my blog for some great ideas today!!!
Thanks!!!

  13. Cheri, I came by to tell you how sorry I am for not commenting when you featured me. I was finishing a set of slipcovers for a woman. I wanted them done by Wed. I stopped at the computer for a short break, and saw your comment. I rushed over.. and of course got all lost looking at all of the wonderful ideas. I grabbed the button, posted it on my blog and ran back to sewing. I knew I would make it back to say it was fun and thank you for doing that. Sorry it took me so long.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE reading each and every comment. Thank you so much for stopping by for a visit. I wish I could sit and chat with each of you face to face, sipping on an ice cold lemonade (in the hotter months) or a nice hot cup of coffee (in the colder months), getting to know each other but this is fun too.
