Kids Table Reveal- Do It Yourself Project

So I started taking the table apart and then cleaned it really good.

There were lots of little screws and I did not want to loose any so I wanted to get this project done and put back together as quickly as possible.

The table came out cute and coordinates well with the chairs that came with it. The chairs are red, blue, green and yellow.

I really like this table top surface much better than the original one. If the kids were playing with markers, the old surface soaked up the marker and left a permanent stain. The new top wipes up so nicely-leaving only the clean, shiny surface. It took one extra step because I had to secure the material and then the plastic top but it was not difficult at all. This table required unscrewing the top but some have little pieces that can be popped out. You will need to use a staple gun on the bottom. If you don't have one you could try using some heavy duty tape to hold your material and plastic top down. The metal table brace would also help to secure it in place (if you go the tape route). All in all, it looks pretty good and I am pleased with the results.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE reading each and every comment. Thank you so much for stopping by for a visit. I wish I could sit and chat with each of you face to face, sipping on an ice cold lemonade (in the hotter months) or a nice hot cup of coffee (in the colder months), getting to know each other but this is fun too.
