My kids love this cake. I use an orange cake mix and make it according to the box but instead of using water, I use fresh squeezed orange juice. I mixed fresh OJ and powder sugar for the glaze. Quick easy and OH SO GOOD. (We also like Lemon-if you like tart things you will love it.)
My cousin took us to a place in the Bradenton, Fl area called Mixon's Orange Grove. They make homemade orange ice cream every day, had fresh squeezed juice, had orange samples in the back. We bought 2 different kinds of yummy oranges. Check it out, click on the word... ORANGES
My favorite orange (and my kids) is the clementine-so yummy, and sweet, they peel easily and better yet they don't have many seeds.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE reading each and every comment. Thank you so much for stopping by for a visit. I wish I could sit and chat with each of you face to face, sipping on an ice cold lemonade (in the hotter months) or a nice hot cup of coffee (in the colder months), getting to know each other but this is fun too.
