I am guest blogging at Ucreate today. WHAT an honor to do a guest blog spot at Kari's blog. She is the Queen of craft, & diy tutorials here in blogland. I have had the honor of having her show off some of my other projects before but this is the first time I am guest blogging on er blog.
My project today came out so cute. OK so that is my personal opinion but I do--that's what I think.
I found these table at a thrift store, as I was dropping off some items.
Sorry I forgot to take a real BEFORE picture-they were white but they are no where near done so this gives nothing away.
(I sanded away before applying my paint.)

Anyhow these tables were by the dumpster...
You need to go over to http://kari-youcanmakeit.blogspot.com Ucreate to see how they came out. They don't even look like the same tables at all.
While I was doing my post over at Ucreate I saw another guest blogger and had to go check it out and you need to as well. I e-mailed Analast night this morning. I know it was well after midnight and I didn't get in bed till about2 am. I was finishing up everything and that girl is crazy like me. She e-mailed me back at 2 am. Anyway I have to tell you about her because you are going to want to go over and see her blog, it is AMAZING. A gal after my own heart. Just pick up those tools and get to building.
She shows you how to build furniture that are knock offs from Ballards, Pottery Barn etc for pennies on the dollar. Carpentry was not her profession (well it is NOW), she was a computer techy girl but she learned to make furniture. They were building their own home, living in the garage as they built it. She was pregnant. Hubby would hold pieces and have her use the nail gun--I thought it was funny how she said at first she would close her eyes and hope for the best, then she learned to love it. Once they had the house built they had no furniture and she began building furniture frame wood they had from the house--she learned out of necessity, then started getting orders and was getting businesses ordering from her.
SHE IS ALTOGETHER AMAZING.
Here are some of her creative ideas:
