And the winner is...

(Let me start off by saying I am sorry for the blurry pictures-UGH this camera has been such a problem. It started acting up at Christmas. Didn't my camera KNOW I needed great pictures at Christmas-I had 5 trees up and of course I needed great pictures of the kids and then my sister and her husband and 2 girls would be here-but no matter how sweet I talk to it or how much I threatened it-it DID not cooperate. I do have my eye on a digital Nikon but it just isn't in the budget till that great new career is in place-so bear with me please-unless you have so many cameras and you just wanted to send your new friend a camera-hee hee.) I had so much fun doing this first GIVE AWAY. Thank you ladies for all the comments and posts. You are all so wonderful. I feel abundantly blessed. My husband is so close to being done with his classes and we are filled with a little bit of excitement and a little bit of wonder, add a pinch of anxiety-due to the economy and the job situation out there but we also know God holds us in the palm of His hand and since He knows each time an ant dies or a bird falls from the sky we know He cares and loves us and wants the very best for us-we are ready LORD for that next chapter in our lives to unfold. We are talking about where to put resumes out and begin the career search, looking on line at the housing market-in the areas we have narrowed down, as well as checking out the home school laws-so that is part IS exciting. I will be biting at the bit to get started decorating and making it our own and getting to get out and about to find the BEST places to get DEALS. So even when we move, I will feel like I am moving with so many new friends, that I won't loose when we pack up and head out. God has placed each one of you in my life at the perfect time.

I have enjoyed looking through all of your blogs. I had a headache splitting headache-maybe a migraine, yesterday. I still have a headache this morning but I can function better today. If I haven't been to your blog and posted a note to you, I will be doing so soon-if I don't and you posted to me would you please let me know you stopped by and I haven't been by your blog yet because I really do not want to miss any of your blogs. My sweet hubby has the day off today so I will be soaking up time with him and the family. He has worked the past 2 days - 12 hour shifts -yuck- and will be working the next 2 days -12 hour shifts. The things you do when you go to school, so you have full days off to get studying and other necessary things done. I am blessed to be able to be a full time Mom to my 4 kiddos. My sweet hubby is on the bed playing with our little girl. I love listening to her little - 2 year old- conversations with him, She is so much like me. She is a talkative, chatter bug talented, with great verbal skills, especially for a 2 year old. She can count to 11(with the exception of the number 8)-I can too but I remember the number 8. She is SO expressive. She was jumping up and down, yesterday telling me "come to my room Mom, come to my room. You have to see-come on, come on (she has her little hands motioning me to come quickly). I walked into her room as she says "see (as if I haven't seen it before or wasn't the one to decorate her room) it's AWESOME." (isn't that so cute? I love that she loves her room and looks at things and says "that is BEA----U--TY---full".) On a side note- it is going to be a hot today down here in Southwest Florida-I think swimming will be a MUST for the agenda today.

THIS IS JUST THE WINNER'S TAG:

OK so now to the winner. I have enjoyed getting to know you all. I checked and doubled checked to make sure everyone got in for the correct number of chances. I had every name in a bowl, then decided it made more sense to have the name drawn from a hat-isn't that what you are supposed to do??? So I got one of my husband's baseball caps (yeah he's a ball cap guy) and put all the names in the hat and had my husband draw one out. As I was transferring the names to one of his hats, you should have seen the look he was giving me. Yeah, he thinks I am NUTS sometimes. I am not going to admit to more than sometimes. The look was one like-does it REALLY matter if the names are in a hat or bowl. We were the only two four (the 2 little ones were in bed wit him) seeing this drawing take place. I was excited to see which name was pulled-you would have thought my name was in that hat-it wasn't I assure you. I had friends from high school, college and my adult life- who had entered the drawing as well as so many NEW friends. DRUM ROLL please........ THE WINNER IS-Half of the Style Sisters. I will be sending you an e-mail to let you know as soon as I post this. I have to tell you, I made an ADORABLE-at least I think so little WINNERS card to go in the package-I hope you think it is cute too. I saw something similar to this on the blog Composing Hallelujahs. My little brain started thinking that I wanted to make a girly winners tag to send in the package. What do you think-I love the vintage looking skirt-it looks like something June Cleaver would wear.

I am already so excited about the next GIVE AWAY. It's so cool, I want it. Do you think I would give something away to my friends that I didn't think was AWESOME.

See this was a long blog-my daughter IS like me-I warned you. Yes I am a talkaholic.

  3. OH and I forgot to mention how absolutely so cute is the gift tag. You are one talented lady. I hope you will be looking in our area as you make a decision to move. The weather is not as humid as Florida so that will be a nice change for you. The Lord does watch over us and will direct our paths...I know this for a surety.
    Hugs,
    Karin :)

I LOVE LOVE LOVE reading each and every comment. Thank you so much for stopping by for a visit. I wish I could sit and chat with each of you face to face, sipping on an ice cold lemonade (in the hotter months) or a nice hot cup of coffee (in the colder months), getting to know each other but this is fun too.
