My parents get back in town today so I am doing a second Father's Day meal. Ribs, Broccoli Salad with craisins instead of raisins, corn on the cob and a 6 layer peanut pudding dessert. Have you ever had it? Of course the first Father's Day meal was for my Hubby, the father of our children. He had to work that day but we had him go on a scavenger hunt for his gifts, (the kids thought it was GREAT and he was a Great sport) we had a nice dinner and fruit pizza (a Daddy favorite) for dessert and watched a DVD movie. Even though we didn't get the whole day with him, he had yesterday off and has today off. I love that man so much. I love him more today than the day we got married. He still catches my breath. I love his hands. I fall more and more in love with him when I see him being a great Dad to our children. I really do adore this man. I knew he would be a GREAT Dad when we were dating and I was right. I look at him and know that he is MINE. It is wonderful to be married 20 years and still have that flutter.
It is so HOT and Humid here. Not because of my hubby-I am on to the weather now. We are in the rainy season and pool time is a must. We don't get to enjoy the four seasons here-it is either rainy season or tourist season. This town is a total resort spot with lots and lots of milli-milli-million dollar homes owned by lots of famous people like Steven Spielberg, Kathy Lee Gifford, Jacqueline Smith, lots of political people and so on and so on...We have a lot of snow birds during the tourist season but as soon as tourist season ends most of the snow birds are out of here and it gets a lot quieter around town. I should probably explain the term snow birds-we aren't talking about the birds that fly South for the winter but all the older retired people who "fly" South for the winter.

After reading this post here is what I posted as a comment: You made me cry. I love those moments when we follow that prick in our hearts and don't stuff it deep inside. The last thing I want is to stuff it so deep you don't feel the prick-that's when God has to get the shovel out and the pain begins. So click HERE to read her touching story.
