Home Made Dinner Rolls

Here's one of my projects for today:

Our evening dinner menu:
Parmesan Pecan Encrusted Salmon Steak, on the grill with Long Grain and Wild Rice, Green Beans and Home made rolls.

This is my Husband's, Grandma's and Mom's, Roll Recipe and they are so yummy.

Butter Rolls

2 pkg fast rise yeast
2 Cups of lukewarm water
1/2 Cup sugar
2 eggs
1/4 Cup oil
1 tsp salt
6 1/2-7 Cups flour

Mix the yeast, water and sugar together. Mix in the eggs till blended. Add in the oil and salt.

Add 3 Cups of flour and stir.

Now for the remaining flour you will need to do this by hand.

Once everything is blended together, place the dough on a floured surface and knead the dough till it is not sticky.

Put a little oil in the bowl and make sure the sides are coated, then place your ball of dough in the bowl,

cover and let rise for an hour, till it is doubled in size.

Punch down the dough and make into rolls.

Allow them to rise for another hour or until doubled in size.

Then bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes.

  2. I was going to shoot you an email but didn't see one listed. I'm glad you have moderation on so you don't have to publish this!

You stopped by and asked about the FREE trip. Each year SLAH hosts a general incentive trip to a fabulous location. You earn the trip based on sales and team building activities. This is my second year to earn it. The company even helps us get there with chances to earn double points in certain months. Then you are completely taken care of on the trip - airfare, all-inclusive resort, and fun parties! I would love to share more! Drop me an email if you are interested j.fryar@comcast.net. Have a blessed Sunday!

  5. I enjoy making home made bread.
Isn't the smell wonderful and they taste so much better, than store bought bread.

    Your dinner rolls look good.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE reading each and every comment. Thank you so much for stopping by for a visit. I wish I could sit and chat with each of you face to face, sipping on an ice cold lemonade (in the hotter months) or a nice hot cup of coffee (in the colder months), getting to know each other but this is fun too.
