***To each question that was asked on the blog Thursday, all of my replys can be seen on that post.

My lanai tree decorating project inspiration started here:
We will be called Oaks of Righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of His splendor. Is 61:3 (NIV)

acorn

I think the other tree will be in something to do with these:

I am working on projects for fall. I made all new buttons and have changed all of my buttons on my side bar so they all coordinate. Please grab the new buttons and place them on your side bar so you have the new ones. If you are one of the gals who has been featured on 'MY FAVORITE PICKS for the KNOCK OFF KNOCK OUT party', I made a button "I was featured on Its So Very Cheri" so grab it and add it to your side bar.

I also made the videoat the top. It is a collage of a few of our projects. Didn't my hubby do a good job on that tile? He's the man. I've included the last give-a-way, theBird's nest-I still think it is so cute. there are plates and hair bows, nautical quilts and shabby chic comforters-all handmade. I added some lamp shades I made as well. I made the tea cups that go on her chandelier-went to a shop and cut the holes in the bottom of the cups before they were ever fired for the first time and "made" her chandelier for her room as well. We did everything in her room. Prince Charming made the frame for her mirror and we added the onlays then painted & shabby chic'd it up so it was shabby enough for her Oh So Shabby Chic bedroom. I wish I had taken a before picture of the dresser, most people would have walked away. It had finger nail polish and purple magic marker all over the top of it. It was an ugly mess but now it is a beauty with new knobs and drawer pulls. Isn't it amazing what paint and new hardware can do for a piece of furniture. Her quilt was originally her baby crib quilt. I made all of her nursery decor-curtains, bed ruffle, bumper pads, quilt, blankets. I even made the chenille that went around the middle rose of her quilt. Did you know you can make handmade chenille? When I made her baby quilt I did it so I could add to it and make it into her big girl bed comforter. I added some frames-that might be a good tutorial for a future post. I had to have some Christmas on there as well-I LOVE to decorate for Christmas and I don't think it is just because My Birthday is on Christmas Day. I got a free tree last year to add to my collection---so now I have to get more ornaments. My kids love decorating for Christmas, as well-I hope they have spouses who love Christmas. We buy new ornaments each year to add to our collection. Each of the kids has a Hallmark collection that we started the Christmas before they were born. We get some extra Hallmark ones-my Dad retired from Hallmark as an artist. Then I love to go to unique craft shows and pick up some special ones. I may have to look at some of the ones you gals make that are unique ones for my tree this year. I made the tree skirt, the 2 stockings on the left were made by me but the 2 on the right were purchased. The 2 purchased ones were not bought at the same time and they coordinate-I was shocked to find the second one when I was expecting Miss G4. I added a couple of ornament projects my kids have done. We always make our craft/art projects for late Nov and into Dec., ornaments for our tree. Last year I did a pink tree for Miss G4 to enjoy and boy did she-she loved it, in all of its PINKNESS. I did a sport themed tree for the boys-those fingers were the perfect tree topper-those 2 trees were the trees on the lanai that greeted each person who came to visit us. I also showed you a couple of our other themes that have been on the lanai-the vintage baseball/cracker jack tree that is one of the trees on the lanai right now. Last fall we did trees in Indians and Pilgrims. I still think the Turkey tree topper with the sign that says EAT HAM is so cute. What do you think?

I have visited each follower that I can. Some just have a name and the way your account is set up makes it impossible to click over to your blog-from the Follower section, with just a name, I have no way of knowing what blog you belong to. There are plenty of blogs I have not been to yet and I want to come over for a visit and follow you but I can't get there. SO, PLEASE go look at your follower list right now and see if I am on your list and if I am not YOU need to come back and tell me I am not on your follower list and give me a blog address to come visit. I did add a picture. Its a wedding photo of us on the back of my Mustang convertible.

The Follower contest is ON!!! I have 177 followers -- so we are 23 away from the 200 number-will we make it to 200 by the end of the month? If we do-I have a cute fall gift -- only my followers will be eligible (another reason I really need to know who you are.) So can we do it? Who needs to know about my blog, that would like to become a follower, that hasn't signed up yet?

Sweet Elyse from Cottage won one of the birds nests and did a post about her gift so I am linking back to her-go check it out, CLICK on
Elyse's blog is DARLING

The poll ends tonight-it has been fun. I will post the answers tomorrow morning-thanks for participating.

Want to see what I got free-just sitting out for trash-just down the street?

I will leave you with a few project pictures.
I got the pink sign at Hobby Lobby for 50 cents-clearance, it was broken but I knew I could turn it into something cute.

What do you think of the white frame-it's only been 3 different colors but I think it is the right color now. All those wrong colors coming through when I sanded areas-is perfect.

Maybe it will go into a collage for Miss G4s room-

I'm working on a Fall sign and faux pumpkins, ornaments for the lanai trees just to name a few. I've got some chalkboard projects up my sleeve as well.

I love reading each comment and coming for visits. If you become a follower I will do the same.

Nighty night ladies.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE reading each and every comment. Thank you so much for stopping by for a visit. I wish I could sit and chat with each of you face to face, sipping on an ice cold lemonade (in the hotter months) or a nice hot cup of coffee (in the colder months), getting to know each other but this is fun too.
