The Knock Off Knock Out Button

Well here is what I have been working. How do you like her? Different than the ones I posted but someone suggested a graphic because they thought it looked too busy. I had one person post that they could see the white background better (and I wanted to take my more mature readers into consideration). I loved the contrast on #3 and tried doing a khaki background (in a lighter shade) on this but it just didn't look as good. Originally, I had looked for a graphic and just couldn't find anything that I liked. Then, after I had posted the 4 button ideas and had read all the comments, I was in bed, awake in the middle of the night, & this popped into my head.(That's the way it happens with me, I don't know why my brain can't just pop those things in my head in the first place.) I started drawing her out and working on how I wanted her to look. Those shoes were hard-I can't tell you how long I worked on those shoes-I know so many shoe lovers and if they didn't look right, the button would have been all wrong-just because of those shoes. I hope everyone likes her. You can grab the button and post it so everyone is aware. Next Monday will be the first party event for The Knock Off Knock Out so if you gals would be so kind to spread the word I would be ever so thankful, and if you want to do a post about it that would be great.

  1. Looks GREAT. I have something I want to post but I am having problems getting a good picture of the "real thing". I am still looking.

  3. I couldn't find anything so I just had to draw her out. I really am not an artist at all. I know how to draw lines and can create something to look like what I want but my Dad is the artist. I just got my crativity from him. If you can't find it, go for it and draw it out and see if you like what you create.

  4. I like this one too. It fits the theme. Don't you think the best idea happens when you are not straining yourself to think about it? :-)

  5. This is wonderful, Cheri. I'm taking it, for my sidebar and will see what I can come up with, for next Monday.

  6. Charla-sorry I was trying to type fast before leaving for the dr this morning and didn't put your name on the response. It is the 3rd comment down talking about drawing something up for your needs.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE reading each and every comment. Thank you so much for stopping by for a visit. I wish I could sit and chat with each of you face to face, sipping on an ice cold lemonade (in the hotter months) or a nice hot cup of coffee (in the colder months), getting to know each other but this is fun too.
