So What is the KNOCK OFF KNOCK OUT party all about?

I also wanted to let you know about a give-a-way going on at Melissa's Heart and Home.
So have you ever looked at something and said I can make that, or you ate something at a restaurant and re-created the recipe, because it tasted so good, well that is a KNOCK OFF. Maybe you found the perfect look for your living room, in your favorite magazine but it was so expensive there was no way you could afford it so you re-created it and it looked amazing, well that is a KNOCK OUT. What qualifies for the KNOCK OFF KNOCK OUT party? ANYTHING...it can be an outfit, or furniture, a painting or a frame, it can be an entire room or a pillow. That is the beauty of the KNOCK OFF KNOCK OUT. It would be best if you have a picture to post of the original so you can show the item being KNOCKED OFF and then a picture of your item that is the KNOCK OFF but if you don't have one tell where you saw it or ate the original, etc -- you get the idea. I say this is where THRIFTY meets Creative Sensation. It can also fit right in with Rhoda's party Today's Thrifty Treasures and Metamorphasis Monday at Between Naps on the Porch so all 3, including the KNOCK OFF KNOCK OUT will take place on Mondays. It can also fit right in with the Kimba's DIY party on Thursdays.

The KNOCK OFF KNOCK OUT party will start next Monday Aug 10. This gives everyone some time to start thinking about what they want to post.

It might be helpful, to those people just learning about it on your blog to have a link back to this post so they can learn more about it.

Thanks ladies.

I will try to get a post up about the zoo, I have had a splitting headache for 4 days now. I know everyone wants to see the alligators being hand fed-yes you read that right-only inches from those 2 zoo workers-CRAZY CRAZY people is what was going through my head and you should have heard the sound of their jaws snapping shut-so loud. They would tap them on the nose and say back up and those gators would do it-sometimes.

I have info about this book on the left panel. It comes out Aug 5th. I remember one Mother's Day event at our church and Laura was unable to attend and so they surprised her Mom-Sandy who wrote this book and was the children's director at our church, and had Laura up on the big screen with a pre-recorded message to her mom. They had a sweet relationship.

And I need to make mention that my 12 year old helped do a lot of computer work on the button. I was sick with this headache yesterday and trying to get it done and asked him if he would help. I showed him what to do and away he went. He asked if he could get mentioned because he loves doing computer tech stuff. When I said "Of course", he was so thrilled that he would be out in blogland info, now known as a 12 year old who loves techy stuff. He is so funny.

Thank you very much my friend!
I'm a little confused on what I have won though. Please forgive me for not being clear on it. Oops!
I'm still very excited though. LOL!

We have no children. You asked me about egg color. Is it a nest? I
think maybe blue or red is my all time favorite color. You can e-mail me anytime.

I would have to say blue eggs are my choice. Thank you!

I cannot get your button to work for me at all. I do have other buttons displayed on my blog and didn't have an issue. I'm so sorry my friend. I will try it again in a week or so. Maybe it's a computer glitch.

Thanks for posting about my giveaway. You're a sweetie!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE reading each and every comment. Thank you so much for stopping by for a visit. I wish I could sit and chat with each of you face to face, sipping on an ice cold lemonade (in the hotter months) or a nice hot cup of coffee (in the colder months), getting to know each other but this is fun too.
