I know this doesn't look like a fall item but I needed her dress to be warm enough for FALL weather in KC. This dress transformation all started because I found these cute hot pink shoes. I finally got her dress and a few other things done today. If I have time I am going to make her baby doll a dress with matching shoes too. She asked if she could take her bay to the wedding and I thought it would be cute if they match.
I changed the ribbon at the waste and added little rose buds. She has lace trim added to her socks as well.
I finished her bolero jacket. It is lined with the same material that I put under the skirt.
I made her a matching purse too
Do you see the bolero jacket? Do you see the button?
Yah that button. I made that.
I made the Rose button out of ribbon.I used 2 different ribbons close in color and it shows a little variation of color. Then I added 2 little loops for the leaves. Then I attached a loop of ribbon to the other side of the jacket and made a little rose bug to cover the area where I stitched the ribbon on. The loop goes over the rose to keep the jacket closed. I think it looks so classy. I am thinking I am going to make another for her purse. So what do you think?
The kids and I made a really cute project this weekend and it was so Thrifty.
I have seen different places with these but usually they are just pumpkins. I saw these and decided I would make some but with a little different twist.
We have a FRESH batch of Witches Brew and ALIEN Potion to go along with our
Batch of Goblins and Monster-It's the MONSTER MASH.
Let me introduce the new additions to our family:

I made the house and cat and moon all out of tissue paper piece ripped up. The bats and pumpkin were stickers from the dollar section at Target I left the edges of Kng Tut's bandages unglued and dirtied then up by dipping a cheap sponge paint applicator in water and then barely dipping the end in some brown craft paint, then kept dabbing till there was barely a hint of paint and rubbed over the bandages.

Thrifty Thursday
What is the Celebrate the Holidays party all about?
Celebrating, it can be at recipe, a DIY project, a room decorated, even something from a magazine that you love and would like to work on re-creating.
ANYONE is welcome to join the party
but I sure love my followers
and I try to make this the funnest blog on the block.
How do you join?
**You need to create a post about your item. (I suggest opening 2 browser windows so you can go back and forth-it just goes faster.) In your post you need to add my Celebrate the Holidays button (copy the code in the scroll box under the box and copy it into your post) or add the link to my post so people can find the party.
**You need to add the permalink (NOT your blog address). If you click on your post title, copy that code that appears in the address bar and then post it to MckLinky.
If you come back and your post is not here, it is because you forgot to do one of the above things, just fix it and re-post. I have been trying to come by and let people know if they forgot something but with our home school year underway, I can not guarantee that I can do that this week. We enjoy every new post and I appreciate everyone who has posted the party buttons on their side bar. You guys really do inspire me.
I am definitely going to change the name of both parties. It all started off because someone else named a party Celebrating the Holidays--mine had been going on for several weeks already BUT I don't want people getting confused. I think I want to name all of them soemthing with ITS SO VERY... give me suggestions and if you come over and the party name is different you will know why.
I can not wait to see all the wonderful projects.
