So here is the re- post
A few weeks ago I was at Jo Ann’s (you can feel really bad for me because we don’t have Hobby Lobby), and I saw these.
No, I didn’t see an ornament. I saw these.
Is that what you saw?
I grabbed 3, sawed off the tops, and sanded them.
Then I painted them silver
Then painted the centers white and used my number stencils
Then I grabbed my 16 gauge wire and made each one a metal ring. Finally I sanded them so they would be a little shabby and used my distressed ink pad to darken them up a little.
Aren’t they so cute??
That part of the project was done but I still needed to finish the over all project so I could display these numbers (the address).
I cut a strip of burlap and hot glued on some cranberry red beads for the hanger.
I took another piece of burlap and added beads to make a WELCOME banner. I cut out a leaf shaped pattern and cut out several colored leaves. I used a flat cranberry red and celery green paper, some shiny red on red heavy Christmas wrapping paper, some white and cream paper and some pages from a book. (I cut the “frame” from a Children’s Place gift box.) After gluing down the hanger, I added the leaves and then the WELCOME banner.
I used the CRANBERRY beads to make my welcome banner.
Then used the beads to hang the numbers from the bottom of the frame.
Do you remember this plate from HERE?
I got another plate and worked on this project.
And if this post shows up in READER and I can get the other posts to post to everyone's reader I will REVEAL how this project turned out. (it will be nice to not be dealing with posting issues.)

I know I'm late in chiming in...I just found you from The Lettered Cottage. These lettered ornaments you made are darling. But I just had to comment that I can't feel sorry for you because you don't have a Hobby Lobby. I live in a town with no Hobby Lobby, no JoAnn's, no Michael's. Nothing. Lisa~
